A pair of early taxidermy pike, preserved by Spicer of Birmingham (label to the bottom right of the case). Bowfront gilt lined case measures 48″ by 25” by 10.5”, blue backboard, fully reeded over a gravel base. Internal paper label reads: Birmal Angling Society caught at Linconbe Weir, Stourport by J Freeman, Sept 11th 1926 10lb 7oz Sept 19th 1926 11lb. A super looking big twin case, a fine addition to any tackle room, mancave or tackle shop window, collection only from Weston Super Mare or by mutual travel arrangement/meet.
