Hardy have been producing the finest fishing tackle since 1872, introducing their first split cane fishing rods in 1882. Hardy pioneered the design, build and quality of split cane rods, many of which are collectors items and can still be fished today.
Hardy introduced top quality glass and carbon fibre rods in the 1960s and many quickly became icons, from the Fibalite, Elite, Gem and Jet fly rod ranges to the coarse rods such as the Hardy Matchmaker, Richard Walker Avon, The Carp, Fred J Taylor Trotter and Perfection.
