This Sunday, 17th April 2022 you will find us at the first Rotherham tackle fair. Held at the Phoenix Sports and Social Club in Brinsworth it opens its doors to the public at 10am. Located just a few minutes off junction 33 of the M1 its easy to find with good parking, refreshments and many varied stalls.
There are two rooms, you will find us in the main room with our distinctive banner and display cases of goodies to browse and buy.
We enjoy meeting and chatting to customers old and new and there’s nothing like picking up a rod or spinning a reel. Unlike simply buying over the internet it’s a rare opportunity to discuss tackle old and new, swap information, and network among the collectors and dealers present.
We have just bought a good collection of vintage Allcock Aerial reels. The range is comprehensive including a wooden back Coxon Aerials c 1900, an Improved Coxon with the brass inner liner, and a very rare bright finish Aerial with ebonite rear flange. To top it off we also have a huge, 5” Aerial that’s a real handful.
