REEL CRAZY at Redditch Vintage Tackle Fair

The Redditch Vintage Tackle Fair is being held on Sunday 15th May 2022 at The Abbey Stadium, Birmingham Road, Redditch, B97 6EJ.

The fair, the country’s largest antique, vintage and second-hand fair dedicated to fishing tackle is now in its 18th consecutive year. It will have 36 stalls featuring dealers, collectors, and enthusiasts.

Thomas Turner will be there with a stall and will be available to value, buy and sell any items that you wish to bring along! If you would like to discuss anything prior to the Fair then please contact Dave Townsend on 07535 590617.

Doors open at 9am and close at 2pm. It is £4 entry (cash only) and there is free car parking and wheelchair access. There is also a cafe on site.

This time around we are delighted to have our good friend Tom Neuneck joining us! We are always keen to support authors and bloggers when it comes to vintage and classic fishing tackle information. Anyone who spends thousands of hours of their time to produce a book that we simply pick up and educate ourselves over a coffee deserves a medal, never mind support.

Tom will be there to show the progress of his book. He will be looking to chat with like-minded enthusiasts to broaden his understanding of the UK tackle scene.

This is Tom’s second visit to the antique arena. Some years ago, he amassed a superb Hardy collection, sold up, and reverted to a normal life.

Happily, the bug never leaves and he’s back collecting more enthusiastically than ever before and now REEL CRAZY.
