The Universal Patent 642282 vintage English alloy side casting reel with twin line guides. A weird reel with a 4” backplate and 3.5” diameter spool. Single handle and a drag adjuster to the faceplate’ The brass reel foot is sprung and when depressed it allows to the reel to turn through 90 degrees to cast and then back to retrieve. All original reel, an interesting vintage side caster for any collector. Slight bend in the drum front rim, that can be eased back I’m sure but doesn’t affect us
