3 Original Signed Bernard Venables Artworks. Each 15″ by 10.5″ Glazed and framed

Interesting very early artworks (1920-1930’s) for a volume of Aesop’s Fables (info from Peter Wheat).

1. The Dog in the Manger. Signed and with title in pencil (page 25 in BV hand)
2. The Lark and her Young Ones. Signed and with title in pencil (Page 151 in BV hand)
3. The Horse and the Lion. Signed and with title in pencil in (BV hand)

The three artworks are on Windsor and Newton Art Board and come with lengthy written note from Peter Wheat regarding their acquisition and history.

Very interesting items from BV’s history. A little grubby from handling for circa 100 years! Look nice now framed!
