TT opinion: A rare Hardy Perfect 3 1/8” alloy trout fly reel with the iconic 1912 check. All original with smooth brass 68mm foot. Factory white handle in brass cusp seat. One very minor light line groove to one pillar. The winding plate stamped Hardy’s Pat Alnwick. The strapped tension regulator works well as does the 1912 internal check assembly. No drum rock or play. A rare reel with Hardy cardboard reel box.
