A rarely seen C. Farlow & Co. “Barrett” Spinning Reel in alloy, 4″ Diameter wide drum. Whilst designed as a spinning Reel can also be used for Salmon Fly Fishing. Twin black handle, 2 screw drum quick-release latch, side lever ratchet on-off check control. correct smooth foot blade. Circular holes for auxiliary finger braking in backplate against inner drum flange nice early model, fine collectors reel.
