This rod is part of a small collection of fine high end tackle we have bought from a regular client. The Avocet was fully rebuilt by his friend Edward Barder and has been used very little since. Burgundy close whipped high bells guides with red agate butt & tip liners, bronzed rolled ferrules, 25” onion cork handle with sliding alloy reel rings & butt cap, red button. Stunning rod for the traditional angler or collector. It comes in an unnamed fitted cloth bag. These rods popular with Avon Thames chub, barbel and big roach traditional anglers.
