TT opinion:
Hardy Invincible 2 piece 8′ 8″ spinning rod, early model with handwritten white script. Fibreglass construction with alloy ferrules and ferrule plug, original Hardy labelled rod bag. Keeper ring added or replaced later – whipping runs over the top of the rod name on the blank, small bit of corrosion on the butt guide ring and one arm of the tip ring – also whipped in a different colour to the guides so maybe a replacement. Sliding reel seat so you can adjust to balance the rod properly. The metal collar above the butt cap also marked with “Made by Hardy England”.
