For the man (or woman) who has everything!
This fish was caught by angling writer and Golden Scale Club member Peter Wheat from the River Frome in Dorset on the 28th October 1983. What great provenance and the taxidermist was the fishing and tackle legend Peter Stone. (digressing a little my parents bought me a Peter Stone legerstrike rod for my 21st birthday!).
Not as valuable as a Cooper fish perhaps but nevertheless surely a welcome addition to any fishing den or museum? The fish is on display at my home in Sussex so can be collected from there or shipped in the UK for £100 by a specialist courier.
Next on my list would be a very small carp perhaps 1lbs in weight. Not of much interest so far but when you read the story this is a fascinating ‘capture’
This case is one of four caught by members of the Golden Scale Club Nigel ‘Fennel’ Hudson, David ‘Phinehas’ Foley, Peter ‘Magpie’ Rogers and Peter ‘Isaac’ Wheat.

I wonder where the other 3 cased fish are now?
