What with holidays and a record sales period we are now ready to commence the sale of the Peter Wheat Collection of fishing tackle (rods, reels, floats, lures, etc.), cased fish, Denys Watkins Pritchard (BB) original paintings and scraperboards and a plethora of angling memorabilia. Many items originating from angling legends such as Richard Walker, Fred J Taylor, Chris Yates, Peter Stone, Dave Steuart, Jack Hargreaves, Bernard Venables and of course Peter himself and representing a unique opportunity to grab a piece of angling history.
The cased fish will be the first items to go live on 1st September followed shortly thereafter by the rods and reels.
Peter was meticulous with his record keeping and most items have comprehensive notes explaining the provenance of the items involved.

Dave is continually getting lots of calls to buy good preowned quality tackle. Remember distance is not an issue. If we can’t travel due to large distance, we use a range of very good, honest couriers that can collect your tackle from anywhere in the country. Small or large collections, it doesn’t matter. We will arrange this for you. Dave recently bought approx. 20 rods and the same amount of reels from Blackpool, 220 miles away from TT HQ. Photos were received into the office on the Monday, an offer was made and accepted that evening. Dave arranged the courier to collect on Tuesday and arrived with Dave by Wednesday morning. Its that’s simple! We get calls from Dingwell in Scotland to the tip of Cornwall, distance is not an issue so please call us wherever you are in the UK.
