TT opinion: A J S Sharpes The Aberdeen 11′ 3 p[iece Impregnated split cane fly rod with factory matching spare top. It’s not line rated but a good #7/8 ideal for trout, sea trout and single-handed salmon fishing. The 17″ cork handle has a couple of chips out of the front cork. It still fishes fine but is worth a little TLC repair with spare cork perhaps. Bronze ferrules. All fits together well and will fish great too. A bargain price only because of the handle chips. Comes in maker’s fitted cloth bag
