PlayFair of Aberdeen, Scotland 3-1/2” wide drum vintage alloy salmon fly fishing reel by J W Young. A Perfect pattern, three-part reel, crazed white handle , rim tension adjuster, smooth check click. A 79mm smooth brass foot.Single spring internal twin pawl check mechanism with spare pawl. A smooth running reel and retains good original factory black finish. A scrape to the rim edge as you can see, but it does NOT in any way affect the reel’s operation. Good value alternative to a Hardy Perfect at way less money.
