TT opinion:
Antique wood/brass 5” Future pattern Nottingham sea reel, in fine condition. Red mahogany with polished wood handles on brass plates, central wing nut, ventilated front faceplate, brass spool flange & matching backplate inner liner. Working on/off check, brass Bickerdyke line guide, a little bent, needs to be straightened, stunning reel from the 1920s, a fine addition to any collection.
