TT opinion: A fine antique Moscrop of Manchester Patent hollow spindle fly reel with makers medallion logo to the backplate. 2.5/8” diameter reel with shaped polished horn handle, brake tension adjuster to ventilated drum. Correct 64mm smooth brass foot stamped J B Moscrop Manchester. The reel retains most original black on brass finish. It turns free and the brake works. A fine Patent brake reel for the collector.
