J S Sharpe of Aberdeen The Scottie Eighty Eight, 8’8” two piece impregnated split cane trout fly rod in fine condition with spare tip. Estimated # 5/6 line ( does not state on rod). Red whipped guides, bronze push ferrule, keeper ring. 9.5” shaped cork handle with light alloy reel fittings. The butt ring is very slightly out of shape otherwise a fine example in the maker’s original cloth bag. A sweet little rod for the river, small stream, and pond fishing and matched with a 3″ reel it will balance well.
