Hardy the Halford Knockabout 9’6” two-piece Palakona cane trout fly rod No H40768 dating the rod to 1961, so a fairly recent rod trout fly from Hardy. Heavy close whipped all through, professional revarnish some time ago, and looking very smart and fresh. Replacement butt ring, low bridge intermediates, plated stud lock ferrule. 10.5” cork handle, wood spacer and screw reel fittings with reversible butt pin to stand the rod up. The rod is straight, ferrule fits well. it will be a joy to cast with #6/7 line on a river or lake. Comes with maker’s original cloth bag.
