TT opinion: A very good Hardy “The Gold Medal Rod” 14’ 3-piece Palakona cane salmon fly rod, No. E93034. Burgundy close whipped, low bridge guides with agate lined butt & matching tip rings. Bronze lock fast ferrules with wood stoppers, 27” cork handle with screw slide upper & 6 screw fixed lower reel fitting. Spare tip is around 5″ short. Brass butt cap & red rubber button and complete with beige cloth rod bag.
