TT opinion: A rare Hardy The General Rod in fine restored condition. 13’three piece with whole cane butt and mid sections, split cane tip. Green whipped guided, the tip ring is missing, the tip is the correct length, so just needs a replacement eye and good to go, bronze push ferrules. cork handle, alloy reel fittings and butt cap with rubber button. Fish or collect, a super looking and rare rod in makers original but tatty cloth bag. A fine rod for roach, tench, perch, chub and barbel fishing.
