TT opinion: Hardy Super Silex with solid drum to face, with twin black ebonite handles, long ribbed brass foot, white lever side brake and stamped JBW internally. Nice tight lever brake. You could fish with this reel today just as well as you could fish with it 100 years ago. Very good working order.
