A good Hardy Silex Major measuring 3.25″ across the back plate has twin ebonite handles, black handle trigger brake, ribbed brass foot and the early and half moon dial. Quick release spool and perforated face plate. No line grooves to pillars, no damage. A good reel to use or collect.
