TT opinion: A fine example of the early Hardy Sunbeam alloy dry fly reel in 2-3/.4″ diameter. Factory brass line guide for RHW, brass foot, Hourshoe drum latch, and internal spring and pawl check. The reel runs smooth and well, with no drum rock or play, and retains virtually all original dark lead finish. A quality Alnwick hand built reel for short rods, cane glass or carbon and fly lines #2/4 plus it makes a great addition to any collectors cabinet.
