TT opinion: A very good vintage Hardy St George alloy fly reel with silvery lead finish 3 3/8″ with 3 screw drum latch, black handle, and working rim tension adjuster to twin internal check mechanism. Good smoke agate line guide, no cracks or chips, in Hardy nickle frame. Correct ribbed brass foot. No drum rock or play, a very nice clean example, complete with Horsfield leather case.
