TT opinion: A very good vintage Hardy St George alloy fly reel with good lead finish 3 3/8″ with 3 screw drum latch, black handle, and working rim tension adjuster to twin internal check mechanism. Good smoke agate line guide, no cracks or chips, in Hardy nickle frame. Very minor light line grooves to rim next to lien guard. NFB stamped to rear plate. Correct 62mm ribbed brass foot. No drum rock or play, a very nice clean example.
