TT opinion: Just in from our valuation day at Rod & Tackle in Newcastle, this fine Hardy Brass Faced 4 1/2″″ Perfect salmon fly reel with 4 cusps to the alloy drum. Reel has original white handle, brass bridged rim tension regulator with turks head locking nut, original 73mm cast straight alloy foot ( slightly shortened), all three Hardy logos to face plate, 1896 check mechanism . Winds without and hesitation, fully working check. A beautiful original reel. One to fish or collect!
