TT opinion: A fine vintage classic Hardy Perfect 4 1/4″ diameter wide drum salmon fly reel. Factory original throughout, rim tension adjuster, original left-hand drum screw, the reel is right hand wind. 1917 single check, all very smooth and rare brass raised central boss to face plate. Correct 107mm smooth brass foot. Superb quality reel, hand made in the Hardy Alnwick factory by craftsmen, built to last forever.
