Scarce Hardy vintage block leather Silex reel case. Internally measures 4”x 35mm plus a foot length handle slot. Case front stamped “Hardy Bros. Alnwick & 61 Pall Mall, London SW”, original buckle, strap short by 1”. The previous owner’s name very faintly marked to the lid. A scarce shaped case specifically to take Silex pattern reels.
