TT opinion: A collection of 3 antique leather fly wallets. A Deer Hunter by Wheatley stud fastening wallet measuring 5” x 5”, opens to reveal a good collection of early fly-tying tools, vice, hackle pliers needles & scissors. Various parchment pockets containing a small selection of feathers, a Hardy the “On View”, measuring 5.5” x 4.5”, various internal pockets stamped “stout, medium, fine & points”, with various materials and a further wallet 7” x 4” with original strap/buckle containing antique fly tools & disgorgers, parchment pages with chenille bars & a selection of trout/salmon flies.
