TT opinion: A fine example of the desirable Hardy LRH Greased Line Palakona cane salmon fly rod, Line rated #8/9, rod no H525583, dating it to 1962. Honey colour cane with gold whipped guides,a few whips neatly replaced. Stud lock ferrules with polished alloy stoppers. 23″ cork handle, alloy screw reel fittings, Very clean rod, no bag but we will find one before posting. It comes with a Hardy combined wading staff and gaff. 59″ overall length including the steel hook, spring point porotector, bamboo shaft, Hardy details stamped to the screw brass socket.Adjustable leather lanyard and rubber base button. Two great Hardy pieces of tackle to use or display.
