TT opinion:
A scarce Hardy Glaskona Light Spinning rod. produced 1961-66 only. This rod No H69635 dates it to1964. An 8’ 2-piece hollow glass rod in good vintage condition. Brown blank with full-bridge guides whipped olive green, minor surface rusting to some ring frames, but still fishable. bronze push ferrule. 22” cork handle with twin screw alloy reel fittings which can move up and down the handle depending on your casting and reel style. Comes in maker’s correct cloth bag. The catalogue extract (not included) shows the Light Sea version, identical other than whipped crimson, this one green. Will cast up to 2oz ideal for bass and mackerel” but clearly other freshwater species too
