TT opinion: A classic Hardy 8′ 2.5″ 7-piece Smuggler fly rod in very good used condition. Line rated #6, with a packed length of only 15.5″ this is ideal for the travelling angler. Graphite grey blank, is still regarded as one of the best Hardy made. Spigot joints and shaped cork handle with light alloy reel fittings. Crisp action. A good all-round river and stream rod for trout or grayling. Comes in maker’s original cloth bag. One to fish! ( Stored in black tube).
