TT opinion: A fine high quality split cane trout fly rod by Foster’s of Ashbourne, England. Handmade in their Derbyshire workshop, this rod has seen very little use. 8′ long, two-piece, burgundy close whipped throughout. Red agate lined butt ring, snake intermediates and a good tight-fitting bronze ferrule. Line rated #5/6 it’s ideal for both trout and grayling fly fishing. 6″ cork handle, alloy up screw reel fitting stamped with maker’s details. A Beautiful English handmade bamboo split cane fly rod, ready to fish. Comes in maker’s cloth bag and screw top alloy tube.
