TT opinion: Farlow of London Holdfast 8’6”, 2 piece split cane trout fly rod in fine condition. Dark green close whips with bronze push ferrule cork handle wood spacer & alloy reel fitting with removable butt pin. Not line rated but feels a nice #5, dates c 1960’s and comes in maker’s original cloth bag with wooden support very small chip to base of cork handle & a Dorset Frome 8’ 2 piece split cane fly rod. Burgundy close whipped with bronze push ferrule cork handle screw reel fitting & removable butt pin. Line rate feels a good #4/5. Two good English traditional fly rods ready to fish
