B James & son, London, with long cork doughnut shaped handle, 2 piece split cane rod, burgundy close whipped with red agate butt, bronze ferrule & wood stopper 28” cork handle, sliding alloy reel rings polished butt cap & black rubber button. Nice tight ferrule. Nice straight rod, great example or an J B James carp rod with original beige ( slightly stained) rod bag.
