TT opinion: A vintage Allcock Aerial 4” centrepin trotting reel in very good condition. Twin factory original xylonite handles, 6 spoke with tension regulator and 8 large holes to front flange. The is a wide drum model, 28mm inside drum plates, see through check. Correct 75mm smooth brass foot, brass on-off check button, the backplate is stamped with Allcocks Registration details. Small holes to rim where line guard once was. The reel runs straight and well, no wobble or play.
