TT opinion: A lovely little 3″ diameter all alloy Alex Martin ‘The Thistle’ reel based on the Hardy Perfect. Reel has factory craxed white handle, rim tension regulator. 58mm straight brass foot, central plate alloy locking screw and dual check. A great usable reel , no drum rock or play, no line burns to any pillars and stamped with makers details to face plate. EE WATSON very lightly and neatly engraved to face plate. Made in the 1920s.
