TT opinion: A rare willow or wicker fly fishers crell with an inner removable sandwich tray,. Creel measures approx 16″ wider, 8″ dep and 10″ tall. Hinged lid is secured by a twist lock metal latch to the front. Canvas lined to the underside of lid. A removable tackle or sandwich tray is supported by a willow frame to the base. The side fish slot has a leather flap cover. A small amount of wicker loss to the lower edge of base( see image) but this doesn’t effect the creels strength. The original strap is fitted with a Farlow nickle landing net ring. Superb display creel and still fishable today.
