TT opinion: Here we have a lovely unused 2 piece cane MK IV Richard Walker Avon rod retailed by J Weaver & Sons, London. The rod still retains its plastic wrapping around the cork and the sliding alloy reel fittings have never been moved, hence it has never been fished. Close whipped in Burgundy with agate butt and tip rings. Straight as you would expect in blue Sharpe’s rod bag. I haven’t seen a Walker rod that has not been used as this beautiful example. Please see our Carp version of the same rod! One to collect or use!
