Ogden Smith Complete Angler Trout Set In Leather Case 1920s RARE

Thomas Turner are very pleased to have acquired this extremely rare Ogden Smith Complete Angler Trout set. The set is contained in a burgundy lined fitted leather case with applied trade label to inner compartment. A three piece Ogden Smith 9′ WARRIOR trout fly rod with spare tip, smooth cork handle and alloy reel fittings. The alloy reel is the trout sized Exchequer in the small 3″ size with brass foot and small xylonite handle and fixed check. A folding net with turned handle, a Test anglers knife, a Japanned fly box with separate compartments, tweezers and leather line greaser. Lid to leather case stamped LH which we presume was a previous owner. Circa 1920s. Grab yourself a fantastic piece of rarely seen Angling history by the famous Ogden Smith makers.
