TT opinion: An Ogden Smith 3-1/2″ alloy wide drum fly reel by J W Young. 2 screw drum latch, conical white handle, red agate line guide in nickle frame, 66mm smooth brass foot and twin internal V springs and check pawls. The reel turns well, no drum rock or spindle play. Retains black finish, a fine exampl eto use or display.
