TT opinion: A fine original moscrop of manchester, Tapenent hollow spinlde trout fly reel. dates c 1910, 3″ diamter with horn handle, and check brake adjuster to the face plate, Hollow spindle with U shaped wire spool release, the reel has the corerct Moscrop medallion to the backple, and retains virtually all original finish. PLUS an unnamed Heatons 2.75″ alloy fly reel with Centa Brake Patent adjuster. Tapered handle and a crisp smooth check clicker. Both reels are fishable and make great display items too.
