Notes: Milwards of Redditch Mahogany & brass frog back vintage big game sea reel in superb condition. Measures 70mm externally across the frame. factory fitted turned & polished horn handles on brass seats, screwed from the underside. 3 screw Slater drum latch. Brass rear drum flange & full inner brass liner. Calliper spring with steel pawl & backplate brass on/off check button which gives a crips loud check clicker noise when applied. The reel is stamped Milwards Made in England on the foot return. A stunning example is still fishable today. I’m sure it will be a great addition to any collector’s cabinet.
