Mallochs Patent Sidecast Reel 4″ alloy with brass casting eye & reversible drum

A vintage Mallochs of Perth  Patent Sidecast Reel 4″ diameter drum with a black handle, Malloch’s Patent oval logo stamped to faceplate on-off check ratchet lever to the rim, fully working, reversible drum, the twist foot assemble is of brass with a  slide lock screw to top. A fully working example which dates c 1900, slightly bent to one end of the foot, should heat and straighten easily.
