TT opinion:
A good 4″ Malloch of Perth Salmon fly reel with black handle, brass 88mm straight foot, perforated face and Malloch details stamped in the circular logo to the rear plate. One line burn to the inner rim and a small chip in the rim. Inner reel and spool stamped ‘5’. Turns with nice sounding constant check with no drum rock or play. Circa 1920s.
