TT opinion: Here we have a one off prototype J W YOUNGS PURIST in the 5″ diameter. A mint and I would say unused example with factory fitted line guard, which can be moved for left or right hand wind, six spoke with tension adjuster and ratchet on/off check button. The reel spins forever, a fabulous and extremely rare reel for any collector. Comes with certificate or authenticity signed by James Young in 2000.
