A J.W Young & Sons Ltd. Purist 2 Ltd. Ed trotting reel in fine condition. Model 2048, reel No.044 built July 1999 with certificate & leaflet. The reel is 3 5/8″ diameter drum, 21mm inside spool plates, 6 spoke with tension regulator & line guide fitted for left-hand wind, can be changed. On/off check switch, a scarce early model with a sheepskin lined leather case, mahogany box with brass plate to the lid.
