TT opinion: A fine and rare Hardy The Phantom Hollokona, 7′ two-piece hollow built split cane bamboo fly rod in best condition. Rod No H60178, built 1964. Honey colour hollow built split cane, the guides whipped black, tipped red. Bronze ferrule with polished alloy stopper. Keeper ring. 9.5″ shaped cork handle with light alloy reel fittings and butt cap. A stunning little rod, 100% original, straight and with a good tight ferrule. It’s a little beauty for small streams or river small lake trout and grayling. Comes in the maker’s original fitted zip top cloth bag
