TT opinion: A stunning and rare Hardy Phantom Palakona 6’10” two-piece split cane trout fly rod in best collector condition. Pale honey cane with guides whipped black tipped red, line #5. Bronze ferrule with stopper, cork handle with light alloy reel rings. The cane is straight, ferrule, nice and tight with a resounding PLOP when its parted. A stunning little rod, not much heavier than carbon fibre model and with a mid-tip action its suited to both dry and wet fly casting. Comes in makers original blue cloth bag.
