TT opinion: A rare Hardy Perfect Taupo 3 7/8″ wide drum alloy salmon fly reel. Hand-built in Alnwick by craftsman reel makers. Black handle turns freely. Working rim tension adjuster, factory original nickle line guide, drum screw, correct 60mm smooth alloy foot fitting cane, glass, and carbon fly rods. The reel retains virtually all original factory finish. Twin internal springs and checks. The reel runs silky smooth, no play, no damage or alterations.
